Target is my #1 Pick

I choose Target. This is why…

The first thing you need to know is that I do monthly grocery shopping and meal planning. Make sure you are subscribed to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss my grocery hauls!

This is important to note because in these giant grocery shopping trips I buy everything our family needs for the month. Everything that will last in the fridge, freezer, or pantry for at least 30 days.

That makes for a long morning of shopping. It usually takes me around 3 hours of shopping plus an hour of travel. I have to pick and choose which stores are worth my money and worth my time. 2-3 stores is my limit for this monthly shopping trip.

Our local Walmart stores seem to always be out of at least 25% of the items on my list. Which means, I would have to make a separate trip to Target anyways. This leaves room for impulse shopping and room for other errors in my shopping.

In my experience with our local stores, the price difference between Walmart vs. Target are not enough to add more time and effort to my monthly grocery shopping. Which is why I choose Target. Well, most of the time I guess.

Walmart vs. Target

Let’s get down to it! When it comes to Walmart vs. Target, who will win? Here are the qualifications I personally will be using in this comparison.

  1. Price
  2. Availability of products
  3. Quality of service
  4. Environment

What I’m doing is using my monthly grocery shopping list for this month, taking it to both stores and making the comparison. Take a seat somewhere comfy and let’s make a final decision together!
