Happy Sunday!
I have recently been trying to make Sunday a special day where I refocus and rest from my normal weekly tasks. Doesn’t that sound nice? It really is, you should try it!
I am a Mormon and believe that Sunday is a special day referred to as the Sabbath. By setting apart the Sabbath as a special day we can “show God our willingness to keep our covenants.”
Through doing this I know that we will be blessed and our minds and bodies will be rejuvenated for our upcoming week.
One of my favorite and frugal ways to refresh my décor is to frame cute printables. Having these motivational thoughts throughout our home is a great way to remind and encourage our family to always be striving to do better. I want to share these with your family!
This week’s motivational thought came from a line in the presentation found at The Mormon Battalion Center here in San Diego.
If you haven’t been, it is a must see if you are ever in town for a visit! The interactive show tells the story of the Mormon Battalion’s journey to San Diego. These families were faced with many trials, which I am not sure I would have been able to handle.
Despite the sickness, physical pains, and discouragement they faced on a daily basis, they always decided to “choose to be happy.” Don’t you love that? I love that it’s clear that it is a choice to be happy. No matter what your circumstances, you can choose to be happy!

What a great example of being optimistic and positive. I don’t know about you but this attitude is one I would love our family to adopt.
Enjoy your free printable and I hope you have a great Sabbath!
