First let me tell you about this super awesome thrift store we have not far from my house! It has THE best deals! On Mondays the entire store is half off and anything 10 days and older is 75% off! That makes for some good deals!

That is where I found this beauty! Now, I am not 100% sure that it is real silver but it looks just as pretty and cleans us just the same. Let’s pretend like it is and no one will ever know the difference okay? (Except for maybe some of you experts out there!)

How to Clean Up Your Worn Out BBQ

Yes its February, but did you know that for the last few days it has been in the 80s and even low NINETIES here in San Diego! Isn’t that insane? It is nice, don’t get me wrong and I am not saying this to make anyone freezing jealous! Promise! In reality, sometimes I see others pictures of their snow and I dream about the days when I used to live in Idaho going to college! I did love it at the time!

While the first official day of spring is not for a little over a month, I’ve got the fever! Spring fever! This crazy February weather has got me in the spring cleaning, organinzing, BBQing mode. I don’t think the weather is going to last for long but I am going to take advantage of this newfound motivation!

For Valentines Day this past weekend my hubby had to work that night so we opted for a family celebration. The first thing that came to my mind in planning our meal was steak! We don’t eat it very often and there was a good sale going on at Sprouts, so it worked out! The main problem… our BBQ was a little disgusting!
