I can’t explain how much I LOVE monthly meal planning! It saves our family SO much money!

MY LATEST VIDEOS

Total cost for this entire month’s worth of meal planning… $300 for our monthly grocery haul and $25 each week for fresh produce.

But not only does it save us money, it saves me hours and hours of stress, dinner planning, and time spent at the grocery store!

You can read this article on all the details and tips on how meal planning can save YOU thousands of dollars each year! I am not kidding! You really can save that much money! So go read that article and come right back here!

Though I am sharing with you our exact meal plan for this month, you might not want to print off this meal plan for a couple reasons.

  1. Your family might not like all the meals. So you definitely don’t want to plan a meal that know one will eat. That would be a huge waste of money!
  2. You want to start your meal plan each month basing the meals off the food you already have in your house.

BUT… the reason I am sharing this plan with you is because I want to show you that you totally can eat delicious food on a budget. Also, to give you a head start on your own customized meal plan.

Get started with your monthly meal planning

You can download a blank meal planner below (it’s actually an entire meal planning toolkit!) or by clicking here to get your FREE meal planning toolkit. You will also see all the tips that I use to maximize our savings. There is more that goes into meal planning then just finding recipes.

Stay on budget and organized with this FREE PRINTABLE Meal Planning on a Budget Toolkit. Easily save over $500 this month by using this step-by-step guide on how to meal plan on a budget. This is the exact system our family of five uses to save thousands of dollars each year, simply through meal planning!

Then don’t forget to fill out your Master Grocery List and Fresh Produce Grocery List with prices that are relative to where you live. Filling out those sections are what will help keep you on budget!

Get your groceries delivered for FREE!

If you watched the video you will know how excited I am about something new I tried out this month! I was able to get a lot of my monthly grocery haul shipped straight to my front door!

If you have kids or maybe you don’t live close to a grocery store, you especially would understand how valuable grocery delivery is! Especially when it’s FREE!

For me, I usually have a minimum of one child tagging along, who definitely doesn’t want to be out shopping for three hours.

I can’t express in words to you how much joy this new service is bringing to my life! Doing your grocery shopping for an entire month at a time can be a little tiring, but these two services solve that problem!

There is hope! The door bell rings, you open you front door, the clouds part, angels begin singing, , and there patiently waiting are your groceries. Everything you need delivered for an entire month delivered straight to your front door for FREE!

Google Express for online grocery shopping

There are two different services I used this month. The first one is called Google Express. You can order from a lot of the major retail chains like Costco, Target, Smart & Final, or Whole Foods.

All sale prices are available through Google Express. The only draw back is that you can only order non-perishable goods, so no frozen or fresh groceries. Still, I felt like the order was well worth it!

I was able to knock a huge portion of my grocery list off with my online order, which resulted in me spending half the time actually in store with my teething one year old.

Plus, most of the heavy items on my list I was able to order through Google Express. Sorry delivery guy!

You can sign up for Google Express by clicking here AND by using this link you will get $15 off your first order! There is a shipping charge of about $5 for each order. But if you use my link when signing up you will already be getting $15 to offset that cost.

Honestly, the shipping cost doesn’t bother me a bit because it saves me SO much time!

Amazon Prime Now for your FRESH grocery shopping online

This is literally amazing! Prime Now is actually an app where you can order pretty much any grocery on your list and have it delivered to your front door for free!

You do need to be an Amazon Prime member, which if you aren’t already a member, you can sign up for a FREE 30 day trial right here. Bam! Completely free!

I could and should write an entirely separate article all about the many reasons I love Amazon Prime. There are SO many different perks of being a member it’s crazy! I don’t know how they do it.

Back to grocery shopping, Amazon Prime Now however isn’t available everywhere quiet yet. To find out if it’s available in your area, download the free app and put in your location to see what stores are available for delivery in your area.

If you are lucky enough to have Amazon Prime Now available where you live, what are you waiting for? It’s free shipping of your groceries straight to your door!

This month I literally went grocery shopping on my phone at 6am, sitting on the couch while my kiddos were still in bed!

I picked what time I wanted my groceries delivered to my house. They showed up right on time with a friendly deliveryman. The items I ordered that were cold were delivered in a freezer bag keeping them at the right temperature until they went into my fridge.

Our Family’s Monthly Meal Plan for November (11/07/16-12/03/16)

Now here you go! This is exactly what our family is eating for the next four weeks. I am sure that you will have questions like, why we only plan five meals a week. Make sure to check out my Meal Planning on a Budget article and it will give you ALL the details.

To download this month’s meal planner you can click the image right below or click this link here.

Also, in the video I show you what our grocery list for this month looked like but I am not providing it as a download. The reason is because it isn’t a complete grocery list of every single item needed for the meals.

I based the meals off of what food we already had at home so our grocery list will look different from the items you will need to purchase. But make sure and watch the video and SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube because I share different frugal living tips over there then I do here. So you don’t want to miss out!

Also in the video I am sharing with you what my grocery haul looks like and all the prices of every single item we bought!

I hope that you found this meal plan helpful in getting you started with creating your own monthly meal plan! Don’t forget to go and get your FREE Meal Planning on a Budget Toolkit!

Thank you so much!! No grocery list, sorry! 😔 the grocery list I make for myself is based off what we already have at home and what’s on sale at our local stores. So it wouldn’t be much help. So glad you are here!!! Thanks for stopping in!! 💜

Oh my goodness this is amazing! I had no clue that I had so many grocery delivery options! I’ve used Von’s home delivery once but they don’t have very good grocery prices. With a two year old and a two month old, doing a big grocery stock-up trip is near impossible. I was just wondering if you are able to use your Ibotta app on target purchases through Google express?

I feel ya sister!! Exactly my thinking with my three little ones at home! 😜 no you can’t use Ibotta on online grocery purchases. Most online purchases in general actually. But it’s a growing company so hopefully that changes soon!!
