Summer time is just as important as ever to get your meal plan in place. Making sure your meal plan has plenty of easy summer dinner recipes will set you up to allow flexibility in your schedule!
There are two things you can do in deciding which easy summer dinner recipes to plan and cater to a busy and unpredictable summer schedule.
1.Plan meals that can easily be packed up last minute and be sure to keep a supply of paper goods (plates, napkins, plastic silverware) on hand and ready to go.
Example of on the go meals would things like wraps, salads, burritos, pastas, or one pot recipes just to name a few. Meals that can be easily prepped before you head out on your adventure leave room in your plans to either stay home or head out the door for a last minute picnic.
2.The second option would be to have meals that can be prepped or even cooked ahead of time. That way you can enjoy an entire day out in the sunshine and avoid the temptation to grab fast food on the way home.
