I have been thinking about the gift I want to share with you. I am a sweets girl. I love to receive sweets and I love to give sweets. But there is something that is much more important that I want to share with you today on Christmas!
I know that there is a God and that He is our Father in Heaven. I know that he has sent his son Jesus Christ to this earth as a Savior for each and every one of us.
Jesus Christ is a Savior for me, for you, and every single person who has ever lived or will ever live on this earth! No exceptions.
For this weeks motivational thoughts I am wondering if you have you found the secret to being perfect? If you have, then please let me know! I for one, have not yet figured this out. What I do know is that no one, not even our Father in Heaven expects us to be perfect.
Welcome to a new series I am starting where I share a little motivational thought every Sunday. I hope that this quick little read will help motivate and inspire you for the new week!
You will read this multiple times here on Pennies Into Pearls but I am all about FREE printables! I love to print them off, frame them, and put them up in my house as a reminder to stay happy and motivated.
This past week I have been preparing for a lesson I am teaching at church today. I chose the topic of being grateful since this month we get to celebrate Thanksgiving. I ran across this video that shares the idea of Thanksgiving everyday!
I have recently been trying to make Sunday a special day where I refocus and rest from my normal weekly tasks. Doesn’t that sound nice? It really is, you should try it!
I am a Mormon and believe that Sunday is a special day referred to as the Sabbath. By setting apart the Sabbath as a special day we can “show God our willingness to keep our covenants.”
Through doing this I know that we will be blessed and our minds and bodies will be rejuvenated for our upcoming week.
One of my favorite and frugal ways to refresh my décor is to frame cute printables. Having these motivational thoughts throughout our home is a great way to remind and encourage our family to always be striving to do better. I want to share these with your family!
If you haven’t been, it is a must see if you are ever in town for a visit! The interactive show tells the story of the Mormon Battalion’s journey to San Diego. These families were faced with many trials, which I am not sure I would have been able to handle.
Despite the sickness, physical pains, and discouragement they faced on a daily basis, they always decided to “choose to be happy.” Don’t you love that? I love that it’s clear that it is a choice to be happy. No matter what your circumstances, you can choose to be happy!
To download click on the image above to open a new window, then select print from you “File” menu. Another option would be to right click the image, save/copy, and paste in Word and resize for whatever size you need.
What a great example of being optimistic and positive. I don’t know about you but this attitude is one I would love our family to adopt.
Enjoy your free printable and I hope you have a great Sabbath!
One of my favorite things about Sunday is that it is a day that I like to use to refresh myself and be uplifted. I want to share that with you!
Today I am going to be sharing an uplifting thought that I love along with a free printable. So go ahead and print it out, frame it up, and display it somewhere around your home to inspire you throughout the week.
With it now being June I was in the Father’s Day spirit and decided that this week’s motivational post would be focused around our Heavenly Father and a quote about faith in Him.
I know that we do have a God in heaven who is our Heavenly Father. I know that He knows each one of us on a very personal level and He has love for us as individuals far beyond anything we can comprehend.
I know that our Heavenly Father knows and loves you!
I usually use Sunday to refocus, relax and reflect on all of the blessings in my life and how I can be a better servant for our Heavenly Father. But seeing that today is Easter I wanted to take just a minute to share a special message. That is, that I know Jesus Christ lives!
I know that after his crucifixion he was resurrected on the third day. I know that there is life after death. I know that we can live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and our eternal families forever in heaven, once we have finished our life here on this earth.
I know we can have eternal families which is all made possible through our Savior Jesus Christ. This is one of my favorite things to learn about through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Families can be together forever! I am so grateful, beyond words, for this knowledge! It has brought me so much comfort in all the trials I have had to endure in my life so far.
If you have any questions about my beliefs I would be so happy to share more with you. Just send me a message on my contact page. You can also find out more about what I believe on Mormon.org.
