It’s the last few weeks of winter and everyone is getting a little stir crazy up in here! Okay, maybe not so much down here in San Diego. But I do feel for you my friend, who live in other areas where it is still cold.
Remember, I lived in Idaho for about five years. So I do know what it’s like those last few weeks of winter just hoping spring was near!
That is why my kiddos and I have put together these boredom busters to help you guys make it through the end of winter.
With it being a new year and there are a lot of new faces around here, I thought it was time to update my “about video”. I get a little excited when I start talking about living frugal AND fabulous!
I am super excited to meet you and I hope that you enjoy this video! If you are looking for fun and informative videos on how to live frugal and fabulous then you don’t want to forget and SUBSCRIBE HEREto my YouTube channel.
While you are still here, take a look around the blog. Here are a few places you might want to start:
Isn’t the New Year so inspiring and motivating? There is something special about the beginning of a New Year and all the possibilities of change and improvement!
Have you set any goals for the New Year? Let me know in the comments bellow! Sharing goals makes them a little more real and keeps you a little more accountable. I personally love hearing other people’s goals because their goals motivate me to do better!
Are you feeling like this is the year you want to live frugal AND fabulous?!
It seems like all year I have a bunch of great ideas of gifts that I want to get everyone on my list. The ideas are creative, thoughtful, and unique to each person. But of course I don’t think to write them down because “I will totally remember them!”
Then December rolls around and I am stumped! If only I had some sort of Christmas gift guide to help me through this process…
Well look at that! I have one right here! This Christmas gift guide is a little selfish on my part because these are all things that I would love to find under the tree this year. (Will someone please forward this list to my hubby?)
I have lived in California my entire life except for 5 years when I lived in Idaho to go to college. It took about 18 hours for us to drive from school back home! Do you know how long 18 hours feels when you are in a car? I do and have done the drive multiple times.
So I have a little experience in the road trip department. Especially since this time in my life my husband and I were broke newlywed college students. Not much money at all! We learned a few road trip tips on how to save money while you travel and I want to share them with you!
What do you remember about the summer time growing up? Most of my favorite summer time memories are lazy days next to the pool and yummy food grilled up on the BBQ! That is what summer was when I was a kid. Nothing fancy but SO perfect!
It seems like it is becoming more and more common to feel the pressure to create the perfect summer vacation for our families. With social media constantly in hand it is hard to not wish YOU were the one with the exotic vaca’s to other countries.
Guess what! You don’t have to go on an African safari to have a memorable summer! As long as you are spending time with your family and friends and are having fun, there is no need to pressure yourself (or your budget) into a fancy vacation.
